Registration, Fees and Accommodation

This conference is open to anyone intrigued by the conference theme, and registration is free for all but salaried academics.

Registering entitles you to –

• All plenary lectures, panel sessions and debates during the conference, including the literary event on the evening of Saturday 23rd August (which includes a short piece of youth theatre devised especially for the conference);

• Lunch on Saturday August 23rd and Sunday 24th;

• Teas/coffees on both days;

• A conference poster and printed programme.

REGISTRATION FEES

Salaried academic delegates – £80

Everyone else – FREE

CONFERENCE DINNER

There will be a conference dinner at the Meadowpark at 6pm on Saturday August 23rd, prior to the evening literary event in Pathfoot Lecture Theatre. (This restaurant is a 5-minute walk from the conference venue.) An additional charge of £30 applies to this optional event, payable at the time you register (online).

ACCOMMODATION

Delegates wishing to stay overnight on Friday 22nd and/or Saturday 23rd August will be able to reserve comfortable rooms in Willow Court for £45 per night (including cooked breakfast).  You can reserve and pay for accommodation at the time of online registration. (Plenary speakers do not pay this cost.)
